Flying in style

Yes! I don't even have words to describe the feeling I have right now. Some of the wedding plans have changed, and this meant we had to change some other plans. We have been looking for flights for me to come visit, because it is important that I meet his family. I found some fairly inexpensive flights going over, but then the price kept up little by little. Then I found another flight, not direct, that was quite a bit cheaper, but overlapped with my last final this year (ok, I only have 2, but it is still my last). While I was looking around tonight, I found two direct flights that were cheaper than any other direct I had found. It was still a little pricier than the non-direct, but not by that much. And the two flights had a pricetag difference of about $6, it was either Virgin Atlantic or British Airways. After reading about both, I decided to spend the six bucks and purchased the British Airways flight. 

I will be leaving Chicago O'Hare on May 7th, arriving at Heathrow on May 8th at 9:20am. Direct flight! then I get to celebrate Richard's 27th birthday with him! I will be visiting for 16 days. In that time, we hope to play an Ultimate tournament, visit with his mum, dad, and sisters, meet his friends, run a half marathon, and watch quite a few movies. Only 83 days until I leave to be with him.
